Terms and Conditions

This website is operated by Dartmoor National Park Authority. It is a condition of your use of the online shop that you agree any transaction you make is subject to these terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, but any change will only take effect when it has been posted on the website. Please read through these terms and conditions carefully on each occasion you use the online shop.

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse through the online shop and click on any item(s) that you wish to buy and add them to your shopping cart. When you have finished your selection, click on checkout and follow the on screen instructions to complete your purchase.

Needless to say, this site is very secure and you can enjoy the convenience of the online shop with complete peace of mind.

Specifications

Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance with our Returns Policy.

All sizes and measurements are approximate, but we do try to make sure that they are as accurate as possible.

Payment

Payment must be made by a Credit or Debit card, in British pounds sterling. If you are shopping from outside the United Kingdom, your credit card company will automatically convert the transaction from your own currency.

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rates, but exclude delivery charges, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Cards Accepted

We accept payments from Visa (including Electron), Mastercard (excluding Maestro), Switch, Solo and JCB.

Security Arrangements

The online shop uses Barclays Merchant Services (BMS) to handle the collection of credit card details, using 128 bit SSL encryption to keep data very secure. BMS ensure that all information is held with the very high levels of security required.

Errors & Omissions

We try and ensure that all prices and descriptions in the online shop are accurate and up to date. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, or a material error or omission in their description, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of placing a new order (at the correct price) or cancelling your order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If the order is cancelled and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Delivery

We aim to arrange despatch of your order straight away, but you should allow 28 days for delivery.  We will despatch your order securely wrapped in a pre-paid package via Royal Mail. We regret that we cannot accept any responsibility for late delivery, failure to deliver or loss in transit. 

In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply all or part of your order, we will contact you and the appropriate refund will be given.

Your right to Cancel

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased from the online shop and receive a full refund. This does not apply to personalised items or audio/video recordings that you have unsealed.

To cancel your purchase, you must return the item within seven days of receipt, quoting the order number, to the following address:

You must take reasonable care of the item and return it unused, in its original packaging. Unless we delivered the item to you in error, or the item is faulty, you will remain responsible for any delivery charges and the cost of returning the item to us. For your protection and peace of mind, we recommend that you use the Royal Mail "proof of posting" service, or equivalent.

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be totally satisfied with every purchase you make from the online shop; if an item is faulty or becomes faulty please let us know. Please make sure that you check your items carefully before they are used or installed. We also recommend that you keep your receipt or order number as you might need it as proof of purchase in the event of any after-sales queries.

If you experience a problem with a faulty item...
If the fault occurs within 12 months of receiving your order, please return the faulty product(s) along with your receipt or order number (found on your order acknowledgement or delivery packaging).

In accordance with the Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations you should indicate whether you would prefer a replacement, a repair or a refund.

We will try to meet your preference, but if we cannot make a repair or supply a replacement product, we will give you a full refund of the original purchase price and any delivery charges, together with your reasonable expenses in returning the faulty item.

Privacy Policy

Dartmoor National Park authority will not disclose your information to any third party. Cookies are used on this website, but only in order to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once an item has been selected.
