About UK ANPA
UK ANPA (the UK Association of National Park Authorities) is made up of the fourteen chairmen and chairwomen of the UK National Park Authorities, advised by the fourteen chief executives/national park officers.
The UK ANPA vision is to promote National Parks as beacons for sustainable development: to raise the profile, understanding and relevance of these protected landscapes, to facilitate training and development opportunities for NPA Members and staff, and to foster closer working with the growing UK and international family of protected landscapes.
The Association employs a small staff to undertake this work, based in an office in Cardiff. The team consists of a full time Co-ordinator (Cathryn Marcus), full time Administrator (Andy John) and part time Public Relations Assistant (Paula Major). Day to day activities include:
