Activity aims:
Make English come alive! Use a visit to a National Park or an outdoor activity to inspire your pupils to use what they have learnt and experienced to write poetry.
Students will learn or achieve:
- how first-hand experiences can inspire creative writing
- that they too can write poetry!
- a greater understanding of, and confidence in, using different language structures
What you will need:
- Paper and pencils / pens
- Photos taken during visit / postcards / images of web (optional) - to prompt memories
- Print-outs from the PDF
Prompt your budding writers
