Some centres are run by the National Park Authorities and some by the local Tourist boards, either way the staff have a wealth of local knowledge and can give you uptodate weather reports and saftey advice.
Take the address and phone number of centres with you, then you can call or pop in on the day of your visit if you have any questions.
