We are currently looking to fill the Trees and Woodlands Officer post on a full-time basis until 31 March 2014. This opportunity has arisen as a result of a secondment by the post holder to the Forestry Commission. We require an enthusiastic individual to deliver our services in relation to woodland management – surveying woodlands, writing management plans, applying for grant aid as well as overseeing work. Salary: £18,453 to £22,221 per annum pro rata; Hours: 37 hours per week; Term: Fixed term contract until 31 March 2014; Based at Grassington, North Yorkshire.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy ICT Team where you will be helping to support the Authority's software systems and users, dealing with enquries and providing basic training in the use of applications deployed by the Authority.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes. Acting as a front line communicator with the National Park's eight million annual visitors, ideally you will have a good knowledge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, particularly of Wensleydale. Salary: Variable hours at £6.63 - £7.19 per hour (with possible progression to £8.32 per hour), the salary includes a supplement for weekend working; Based at the Dales Countryside Museum (DCM), Hawes.

We are looking for an experienced administrator who can 'hit the ground running' and provide administrative support to the Museum Manager and Dales Countryside Museum. Salary: £14,733 to £16,830 per annum pro rata; Hours: 15 hours per week (some flexibility over working pattern); Term: Fixed term contract until 31 March 2014, to start as soon as possible; Based at the Dales Countryside Museum (DCM), Hawes.

The National Park Ranger Team is looking for enthusiastic young individuals to participate in a 10 day placement which will take place over a 3 month period. This will give individuals the opportunity to experience working in England's most tranquil National Parks – the highest landscape designation.

We are looking for a qualified town planner (MRTPI) who is enthusiastic, efficient and flexible with good proven design skills to join our development management team. You will take forward our vision for a sustainable future for Dartmoor and implement the policies of our soon to be adopted Local Development Plan.
