Become a friend of the National Parks

If you are passionate about National Parks and want to join like minded people who campaign for their protection, you can join a National Park Society. The societies are charity organisations with members from within the National Park, the rest of the UK and around the world.

There is a society for each of the National Parks in England and Wales, and they all suppport the umbrella organisation the Campaign for National Parks. Many organise events in their National Park so you can get involved in guided walks, talks and active conservation work.
