Information centres and shops
You'll get a warm welcome and great advice at all the information centres in the National Parks. From finding a place to stay or planning a great day out, to getting the right map to take with you, you'll get all the help you need.
Some centres are run by the National Park Authorities and some by the local Tourist boards, either way the staff have a wealth of local knowledge to help everyone, whether you want a pushchair-friendly walk or a strenuous hike. You'll also be able to get the latest local weather reports and saftey advice. National Park centres often include exhibitions and games too.

Our online shops have maps, walking and cycling guides, books and natural history guides to help you plan your visit. There are calendars and souvenir books and even a woolly hat to keep as a momento of your trip.
