Medieval fayre and activities fun

Monday 25 July to Friday 29 July
10.30am - 4pm
Carew Castle, Pembrokeshire
Come along and try a wide range of activities relating to castle life. Try painting, pottery, archery, brass rubbing, bread making and lots more or help to put on a play. Heathcliffe Heroics will be giving demonstrations and historical interpretations, plus there will be archery demonstrations and have-a-go sessions.
Bring: A picnic - or visit the nearby pub for lunch
Access: There’s wheelchair and buggy access to the ground floor of the castle, disabled toilets at the castle reception and a wheelchair for loan for those with mobility difficulties
Cost: £4.75 Adults, £3.25 concessions, children free (there will be a small charge for some activities) - no need to book just turn up

A costumed guided tour for families. Find out about life in the Celtic Iron Age, covering everything from what the landscape looked like to the reality of warfare. Aimed at 5 to 12-year-olds.

Fighting and farming - learn Iron Age skills
